Art Farmer Signed Photo 1967In December 1967, the trumpeter and flugelhorn player Art Farmer played an engagement at the Jazz Workshop in Boston. Farmer was a veteran presence on the scene by then; he had been performing and recording for over 20 years in Los Angeles in New York, and his playing was noted for its lyricism and warm tone. While at the Workshop, he signed this glossy 8×10 photo for one of the club’s owners. Although the signature is clear, the ballpoint pen was skipping on the photo’s glossy surface. The photo itself is in very fine condition, with the only damage being the bent lower left corner. The Troy Street Images watermark does not appear on the actual photo. Price: $75. Contact me for more information or to purchase.
